Calling all Quiltsmarties! Are you attending the Rocky Mountain Quilt Festival August 13-15 in Loveland, Colorado?
Mark your calendars now, because not only is this one of the most talked about Quilt Festivals of the year, but you’ll also have a chance to join instructor Carmen Geddes from TenSisters Handicraft for 3 Quiltsmart classes.
Kick off the festival with Carmen’s Vintage Postage Stamp Class where attendees will use Easy Piecing Grid to make a colorful quilt with no segmented seams.
On Friday, explore how to make Black Eyed Susan using the engineered printed interfacing for an easy approach to appliqué. Sew a traditionally difficult quilt with ease. No curved piecing or needle turning.
Wrap up the last day of the Rocky Mountain Festival with a Quiltsmart favorite, the 38” Lone Star. If you haven’t tried this Quiltsmart project yet, hurry and sign up now! In this class you can take a deep breath and forget everything you know about making a traditional Lone Star quilt and imagine a new method that has no angles to measure and no templates.
Each class is 3 hours long and Juki sewing machines will be available for use.
Class space is limited. To learn more including supply list and fees, visit www.rmqf.net.
