Sewing and Quilting Storage Tips

#1 Use the small, plastic M&M containers to store bobbins. They are the perfect size, can be grabbed quickly, and travel well.

#2 Save shoeboxes. As you work on different projects, store completed blocks in the box labeled for the project. You can also cut out snips of fabric for each project or each block that you plan to do next, place them in the box, then when you plan on sewing it, just grab that shoe box.

#3 Before putting your scraps away, cut them into small squares ( 2.5" is a good size for Quiltsmart projects). They will be organized and ready for your next project!
