Baby Ribbon Blanket with a Dual Purpose

When we asked our Facebook fans what their favorite gift for a new baby was, the response was overwhelmingly a baby quilt. We took the baby quilt one step further by adding fun ribbons babies love to play with, and as if having a ribbon quilt wasn't enough, we made it big enough to double as a play mat.

The ribbon blanket sews up quick using Quiltsmart Watercolor 2.5" grid interfacing. While binding the quilt, ribbons were added around the quilt sewn under the binding and tacked down to stick out the sides.

Finished quilt measures approx. 24" wide x 32" long, but can be customized to the size of your choosing, and can even be made in a smaller, lovey size!
